The clock is ticking down and we now have less than 5 days till the second annual Engineering Expo to be held on November 15, 2009. This free event will provide a great opportunity for students to talk with practicing engineers from major corporations, meet university representatives, hear outstanding speakers, and have a fun afternoon.
We now have 43 Corporations and 49 Universities signed up including 11 of the top 11 Engineering Schools in the country as ranked by US News! Wow, that is testimony to how much of a must attend event this has become. To get a feel about what the Expo is all about, watch this News report from last years Expo.
We also have outstanding speakers lined up,
Our Coppell High School engineering students will also be showing off their latest work including: solar car, underwater robotics, hovercraft, rocketry, SolidWorks, bridges and others.
In addition, there will be a raffle for exciting prizes, including a one-hour simulator ride in a 737, provided by Southwest Airlines. Concessions will be catered by Mooyah Burgers and there will be a wide variety of snacks and refreshments available.
Below are the event details. Please check this page often for updates as we get closer to the Expo.
