Another Expo in the books!
Well we did it again, another great Expo was held on Nov 6th! Thanks to all the volunteers, students, teachers and exhibitors!

From EBC president Kevin Cowan: "On behalf of the EBC Board of Directors, I would like to personally thank each and every one of you who volunteered your time, energy, ideas and sweat equity this past weekend for EXPO 2011. I would also like to thank those of you who provided material donations as well. As you know, events of this nature and scale are simply not possible without a "cast of thousands", so please know that we are greatly indebted for all your hard work and dedication in making the event a reality. By any standard, measurable or otherwise, EXPO 2011 was yet another huge success and we have you, our dedicated parent base, to thank for that"
Solar Car Drive-a-Thon
The solar car team is preparing for a Drive-a-Thon fundraiser. This will be the team's major fundraiser of the year. As you may know the plan is to build a new and better car this year and race cross country to California. That will only happen if the team can raise the funds. The budget is estimated to be around $80K for the car expenses and team travel for the race!

Ice Cream Social starts off the new year!
The annual Ice Cream Social was held on Aug 25th. If you missed we had some great Marble Slab ice cream and talked about the plans for the new school year.

Have you filled out our Membership form?
Aat the beginning of each new school year we ask all parents of engineering and STEM students to fill out our membership form (even if you filled one out last year). We need to know who is out there so we can keep you informed! We now have a online form to make it even easier. Please go here to fill out the form.

Are you on our Email List?
If you are not on the booster email list then please sign up below. This is the only way we have of keeping you up to date with events as they occur through the year, so its important to be on the list. Sign up with as many emails as you would like.
