Thank you to all members who filled out our recent Parent Survey regarding Spending Preferences. The EBC Board has identified fundraising opportunities that will help us reach our goals. Your participation in the survey helped the Board to understand the top 3 spending preferences for funds collected through fundraising:
To see the current list of Lab Equipment needs, please see the Fundraising section or Mr. Yakubovsky's Newsletters. The Board will announce Fundraising initiatives at the upcoming PotLuck Dinner on December 1st to help toward the purchase of as many items on this list as possible! It is great to see the enthusiasm for enriching the learning environment for our School of Engineering Student Body! Many members have asked how they can be a part of bringing in outside Guest Speakers or help with organizing a Virtual Field Trip for our students. If you would like to offer your expertise in such a manner OR if you have contacted an Organization which has a great Engineering related presentation, we would be happy to connect you with teachers whom can make it happen! Please go to the Volunteering section and complete the Virtual Field Trip / Guest Speaker Volunteer form (on the left hand side of the Volunteer section) to begin the process. And third place was a tie! The EBC Board will continue to highlight specific Student Community events (such as the recent STEM Lock-In this fall and the Paint Ball event last spring). These events are organized by the students and funded in part or whole by the EBC! The Board will also continue to accept Senior Scholarship applications each spring and consider applicants for Scholarship awards. Look for more information on EBC Scholarship applications in the Scholarship section after February 1st. Comments are closed.
